What:
Workshop

2:00 PM, Tuesday 2 Apr 2019 (1 hour 15 minutes)
Breaks:
Hafsakah    03:15 PM to 03:45 PM (30 minutes)
Where:
HUC-JIR - Herrman Learning Center: Archaeology Center
How:
In an age of infinite choices the likely outcome is making no choice at all. Tradition offers a way of limiting choice to ease decision-making. An examination of Maimondes' discussion of gifts for the poor provides a useful model for thinking about the importance of the restrictions of Jewish Law to encourage the decision making that allows for innovation.
